At B&M, we move fast, think commercially and keep things simple. We’re looking for a Trading & Secondary Space Manager to take ownership of how our in-store offer comes to life, driving sales through smart planning, impactful promotions and disciplined use of space across our store estate.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our trading operation, working cross-functionally to turn strategy into clear, executable in-store activity that delivers results at scale. You’ll be part of a high-energy, results-driven environment where decisions are made quickly and ideas turn into action. This is a chance to shape how millions of customers experience our stores, making a real commercial impact every day.

Key responsibilities of this role:

• Own and deliver the annual trading plan, including promotions, seasonal events and secondary space
• Plan and execute high-impact promotional events and customer moments
• Lead the strategy and governance of all secondary space to maximise sales and stock flow
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Buying, Space Planning, Marketing and Retail Operations
• Translate plans into clear, simple and executable in-store activity
• Monitor in-store execution through regular store visits and continuous improvement
• Analyse performance and identify opportunities to drive incremental sales

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on driving sales and margin
• Experience in retail trading, merchandising, space planning or similar
• Ability to simplify complex plans into clear, actionable execution
• Confident stakeholder manager with cross-functional experience
• Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on approach, comfortable spending time in stores
