Supply Chain Stock Controller – The Vault Distribution Centre, Speke, Liverpool.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Supply Chain Stock Controller to join our Distribution Centre in Speke, Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-performance distribution and logistics team, a team that plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week.
What you’ll be doing
As a Supply Chain Stock Controller, you will be supporting our Stock and Systems team by ensuring container stock into the business aligns with agreed business rules and requirements.
You will be collating data and producing accurate, short term forecasts to support planning across the DC, including in Imports and Merchandising.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create and maintain an order book, ensuring accurate and timely information is shared with teams across the business.
- Oversee container intake, ensuring only required containers are booked in to the DC, in line with our rules and requirements
- Produce and communicate intake forecasts for the coming weeks to support planning across the DC.
- Collate and analyse supply chain data to support effective stock and capacity planning
- Organise transhipments from Merchandisers to other DC’s
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure stock transfers are planned and executed effectively and safely.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
What we’re looking for
We’re after someone who can communicate with colleagues across multiple teams around the DC. You should have a good understanding of data, and how to manipulate/display it effectively.
Full training will be given, however a good base knowledge is advantageous.
You’ll need to have:
- Merchandising or Supply Chain experience is preferred, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail – your work will be used around the DC!
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- An understanding of Excel, Nova, Power BI or SCP would be an advantage.
