This role is full-time on a 12-month fixed term basis from our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide technical support to the B&M user base, delivering a high standard of customer service and adhering to service management principles.
- Take ownership of user issues, ensuring all incidents are logged, managed, and resolved to completion through the call logging system.
- Escalate and allocate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT resolver groups when required.
- Coordinate and manage external technical support providers to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support desktop services, including hardware setup, troubleshooting, and departmental desk moves.
What you'll bring:
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques, supported by excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience providing 1st line technical support to a large user base, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to manage a wide range of support issues, prioritising workloads effectively and responding to varying levels of urgency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
